Central Virginia Housing (Central Virginia Housing Coalition, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding affordable housing across Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, Fauquier and King George. Founded in 1988 as an all‑volunteer effort, the organization now operates with full staff to deliver counseling, education, financial assistance and property management. Services include HUD‑certified housing counseling and workshops, the federal Housing Choice Voucher program, and a portfolio of below‑market rental properties—ranging from one‑ to three‑bedroom apartments and homes.
